Sport Taillights Finally- recall?

Hey Guys got the sport tails off of ebay and the outter ones seem have minor scatches, dust and dirty in them but not noticeable in 10 feet range, but i was wondering i purchased my car Dec of 2004 Sport package with red tails.
Do you think i can take it to the a diff dealer the one that i dont go to and have them replace them, there was a recall so they might replace with new ones, what do you guys think?

are you talking about swapping the tails? that's a DIY thing and will take only half an hour. you should also be able to clean it yourself, given that the dirt lies on the outside.

I think you're thinking about putting on the clears then taking it to the dealership to get replaced with after recall lights. That's a brilliant idea... If it works

Also, talk to the Tech to see if he can give you the " recalled " tails after the swap. It's worth a shot.

It will only work if your VIN is part of the recall.
