And there I am on on Tollway 183 trying to get to Austin form Cedar Park. And when it's time to face the northwest wind blowing at 30 mph, my car hesitates. I was holding on to the steering wheel with Both my hands out of scare. Every time that gust hit my car, it would jerk a little to the left and I kept correcting its direction. I was not a slight vibration, but a full on shaking at 65 mph. and of course we all know the interior is not quiet on our cars. i shut my audio to listen to that loud whistle. Any suggestions I could improve my cars aerodynamics? BTW i have not added or removed anything from my car.
 
Turning off the 10,000 days CD to listen to the whistle? Right there's your problem... :laugh:

Seriously though, I don't think your problem is entirely due to poor aerodynamics. That said, here's my suggestion to mitigate the issues you described:

H&R Springs (followed by full alignment), better tires, and sound insulation in the trunk, doors, and under the rear seats. Depending on how many miles you have, you may need new shocks as well. If you have cross rails on your roof that you don't use, take them off. After all that, update your signature. :wink:

I don't know anything about those tires, but noticed a huge difference going from the stock Goodyear Eagles to the Yoko's. When were they installed?

50K miles is time for new shocks.

Don't get dynamat. It's not the best for the job and is 3 times more expensive than anything else. B-quiet.com has what you need. It's also not just for audio; Mine had a much bigger impact on road noise (and my own exhaust note) than on my music. In the end you'll actually need less volume out of your stereo to perceive the same sound level. It's one of those benefits that you never knew you needed until you have it.

I've heard about the cross rails causing whistling noises at high speed...
