What did you do to your FX / QX70 today?

took theFX to get the steering column motor replaced just to find out five hours later that the motor they received is broken and they can't replace it yet so i have to wait another week to get the work done.

what a bummer and a let down, I guessing it is drivable and you just have to put forth a little more effort..

They actually told me that I could keep the loaner till they have it fixed but I decided I did not want the responsibility of having their loaner car. Also one sales guy told me that they had several incidents before where rinse have beeb stolen from the cars on the lot.

Had a mini-meet with FX45CHICAGO. Discussed mods (e-fan, unichip) and tightened his steering bolt. Hopefully the shimmy at 60-70 mph is gone for him now.

He also got a glimpse at a secret mod I have going on... (or maybe it's mods...)

Finally fix my "oil in spark plug well" problem by replacing the valve covers and gaskets. It took me 7 hours to complete the job and save me a bunch of $$$.

it takes that long!:frown:
The driver side is very straight forward, but the passenger side is much more time consuming since there are more wires and hose to move out of the way to wiggle the cover off, plus I ran into a couple stubborn bolts and at a hard to reach position.
