2010 40th anniversary 370Z

sweet, i though the 350 was pretty hot when it came out but the 370 just killed it ! now everytime i look at a stock 350 it just look so dated.

So my guess you going to keep the stock rims? my neighbor traded in his tricked out tsx for one of these babies and is already doing some performance modding. sick car indeed

I really wanted to get a 350Z when it came out. They say the 350Z brought back the Z but the 370Z took it to a whole new level...I agree.

I like the look of the stock rims on the 40th anniversary edition. They're the same Ray's Engineering wheels that come with the Sport package, but they're painted darker to match the anniversary colour. I'll probably try to get another set of sport wheels just for track use. I don't want to ratch up these ones.

Thanks, it's like playing Gran Turismo for real. So much fun!

As for the wind noise, the camera comes with a waterproof/shock resistant case with two hatches...one with a couple of cut outs and the other is solid (waterproof). For speeds under 100 mph they suggest using the hatch with the cut-outs. I'll have to try the solid hatch next time to see if that reduces the wind noise. Sorry about that.

10 minutes of my life I don't want back. I found myself wanting you to pass those bastards then hoping for you to lap someone......nice job boss. How did your tires hold up?

Ha ha! Thanks. You can only pass on one spot of the track, the long straightaway, and only if the driver signals you to do so. Plus I'm scared to wreck my car, so I'll tail from far away. I was surprised to catch so many cars on video, especially the Supra that spun out. It's awesome following someone and watching for their mistakes and try to take a better line than they do to close in the gap.

The tires are pretty grippy. There's one turn where if I'm too quick at applying power at the apex, the tail likes to go squirrelly, otherwise no issues with traction. In my first run it started to rain a bit and I was surprised how slick just a bit of water can make the track at those speeds. After the third run the tires were hot enough that they felt gooey. When I came back to the paddock all sizes of pebbles were stuck to my tires...kind of like peanuts sprinkled over a chocolate dipped ice cream cone...quite a funny sight to see. However, the tirewear rating is 140, and it shows. My poor tires look quite worn even only after 2 track sessions.

niceee whip man!!! def a sweet looking ride. im jealous. theres a blue 370 down the st from me at a dealer but that dark grey is a better looking color.

Thanks Jmess. This colour would look nice on my FX too, I think...but it's almost as hard to keep clean as black is. :wink (2):

wow, looks awesome out there... that's one stock car that don't need a thing to look hot, love the look of it just the way it is, even the wheels & stance, beautiful man...

Thanks Turbocad...actually, I have some H&R spacers installed (15 mm front and 20 mm rear) to fill the wheel wells.

I've got a set of Tein Mono Flex coilovers waiting to be put on. I plan to start with a 0.75" front and 0.5" rear drop and then I'll get it corner balanced. I want an aggressive street set-up primarily, but it should help improve the handling for when I go to the track on occasion.
