"Check Disk" error?? 6 disk in dash changer

Has anyone had this happen to them? I am able to load/unload all 6 disk's, just doesnt' play the disk, comes up with error... HELP? any suggestions on a work around? I thought about pulling the fuse for a few minutes then reinstalling to see if the code clears.. Could someone please tell me where is the fuse located for this? Looking for help ASAP. Thanks!!!

If under warranty - the dealer will swap out the unit. I'm on my FOURTH head unit, but out of warranty now so the next one is one me...

some are origional, some are burned, doesn't seem to make a difference.. I'll double check and have a "real" one in there and see if it sees it.. thanks for your reply...do you know where the fuse is for the CD unit? I'd like to locate/pull it in an effort to see if that resets something.. wishful thinking... :wub:

i've tried using the cd cleaning disc and playing brand new cds without luck....not sure of my next course of action, warranty just ran out.
