nissan uses 2 different bell housing patterns, the vk uses the larger one while the vq uses the smaller one, this adapter adapts between the 2, BUT interesting enough, the hr already uses the larger bell housing bolt pattern, so you can bolt a tranny from an HR car right into the 45, only problem is there is no awd stick tranny, so what are you talking about, rwd conversion?
I've been looking & looking for a awd stick setup, even tried getting my hands on an earlier skyline tranny but none of the importers will break up the drivetrain & to have to buy motor & tranny is just too much without even knowing if it'll fit or not. I think I'd need a gtr tranny, but still way to soon to get my hands on one of those so automatic seems the only way to go & keep the awd...
