Fritzie's FX35 Dropped on Megan Coilovers

I looked into buying that tool, it's like $200 at autozone or something last time I checked.

I don't rub, but if I do, I'd do it like how the others have -- remove the trim and dremel the excess sheet metal, but I'd also paint it with a rust inhibitor.

Been doing a bit of research on Megan's CO's, it would be nice to get an idea of what an average lifetime looks like on this specific model. Some of the posts I read on other forums had fairly low mileage expectations BUT based on the write-ups I think the drivers may have been tracking their cars and shortened the lifespan based on hard useage. I would be happy with what we get now on our OEM set-up, 60K give or take.....

Better late than never, here are my pics:

appreciate the honesty, look forward to the Megan coil overs regardless.

Stance does look really good. I could even stand to go a little bit higher for a more uniform gap around the wheel. With the current set-up, do you have to do anything special for alignment or can you get it into specification without a camber/toe kit?

I've been following this thread and I am still VERY interested in buying a set of these. But I have not stopped looking into other avenues - checking into these links in parallel with waiting to hear about this thread's GB.

That price is pretty great - I'd pull the trigger tomorrow if orders were being taken. What is holding the GB until the end of May?

Before the GB begins, could we get photos of all the FX kit components - uninstalled?

Brad, I don't know if you saw any pics, or if we even took any, but the camber was pretty out of whack in the rear. Alan even noticed that one was noticeably a higher camber. However, I believe it had yet to be aligned. Not sure if it has been aligned yet, either.

Good news GB coming End of May !!!!! Our Price $925
I will try to bring the coils down all the way maybe this weekend. And Specs

This is good news..I've been waiting for some FX tested coilovers for some time. Im ready now!!

Hey Lawrence we are dreaming of a rear camber kit also, can it come true?

I haven't aligned it yet. Waiting on the new tires and wheels. Since this is my wife's car I only get limited time to play with it.

Megan told me they would be here end of May. I will take a pic uninstalled then.

Keep in Mind I can get the BC coilovers also. Same Price 999.00 shipped. I asked if they have an FX model and was told they are looking into it. I will try and offer both. Fair enough?

If we had enough interest and confirmed buyers. Maybe. Keep in mind most companies want anywhere from 20 to 100 sets ordered first. That is the real question. Can they and I make a profit? Keeping it real.
