no i didnt say that their goingto make the 1st gens work on the 2nd they told me that there is a kit out from eibach that will fit. now in glendale i have seen a 2009 fx dropped already
 
the suspension is totally different. the first gen's use a mcpherson strut where the second gen uses upper & lower control arms... not even remotely possible. the new fx spring is smaller diameter & longer, it extends from the top to around the middle of the wheel where the first gen spring is much shorter & sits above the whole wheel assy... if they have a spring for the second gen then of course that's different

okay got some good news i took stillena offer for the BBK for $1789 black 6 piston now gotta get a drop... should i take the roof rails off?
 
cool, keep us up to date if you find anything out regarding springs etc for our 2gens. I did this comp a while back, maybe helps you picture removing the rails. Shape of the 2gen makes this look pretty ok:

I would leave the rails on. I think it makes the FX stand out.

looks kick ass. super jealous. i want to get some 4's this summer when i put her back on the road. i like the Blitz rims too. my buddy has them on his maxima. you can actually buy different inserts. (red, mango, chrome) that look good.

did you get a good price on those things?

I have no family members in the auto industry. :tears: I wish I did.

OFFICIAL 09 FX NEWS CONFIRMED FIT FROM H&R getting them installed tomorrow 1.3 front 1.2 back
 
im runnin 24" i dont think i would need to but im short on time dub shows this sunday and if it doesnt look that good the cut away it is

How about cut the stocks super low for the show?

You should give the H&Rs time to settle first, then consider cutting.

ya but my tires r more low pro than that guys up there n hes running stock springs

Please let us know, what was actually confirmed? A different spring/package that can be retrofitted (ie springs for 1st gen fx) or are you saying that the actual 09+ H&R's have finally been released?
