I don't regret any money I've invested into my truck. My only regret is letting my mom move my truck, literally a few feet. She curbed my front rim... It was powder coated flat black, now it looks like a zebra rim. :(

Lol:laugh:

damn! obsession w/ that intake. You're crazed apollo-man!

Side mirror LED covers, when I found out that the on the '06 the guts had to be modified and the remote receiver repositioned. It made the clicker range suck, so I sold them............

I think the only thing i've done so far i can say i regret is not going with 5% tint on my front 2 windows. I did 15% and it feels too light sometimes.

Can you elaborate? Which sensors? Which remote?

the antenna needs to be relocated. easy way is to move it inboard & place it vertical rather than horizontal... this hurts range bigtime, but, you can just locate it up higher while still keeping it vertical too, which poses none of these problems & works well...

i regret ever going to the guy in town for myt stupid HID fogs that have never worked correctly...and now that the KPtech module is fried, I can only have them on at night and not as DTRL

Sorry, I thought it was more common. Stu's right, the saying goes: "If you want something done right, do it yourself."

Oh, I've heard that phrase before; I just figured you were going to complete the phrase with something else. Yeah, I'm not really acquainted with soldering or the wiring diagram for the fog lights and such. I could have soldered the power-to-ballast but have no idea how the other wiring is set up in order to have placed the KPtech module in the right location...which is now fried, so the wiring is all back to the stock setup.....And I have no idea how the Kptech works, so i'm trying to determine whether it is worth it to try and get a replacement module from them or to just wire a seperate switch for the fog lights in order for them to become independent.....

I mean, I'm no rocket scientist:wub:

If I remember correctly there was (at the time) only one place to put it that would get it out of the way and it affected the range.

Isn't there a way to have the OEM control to have JUST the fogs on without the Low-beams? Depending on the wiring diagram, you should be able to jump a wire to switch power to the fogs when just the fog lights are activated, then allow you to turn on fogs & LB's when that switch is activated.

This would probably take some testing and a voltimeter, but I think it could be done rather easily? Possibly recode the outside lighting to a european spec via the OBD2?

here's one for the mazda cx-7

yes, the Kptech module lets you use the oem fog light switch to turn them on and off independently... you cant just wire it up apparently
