HID HL & Fog Light Upgrade

there is no current DIY writeup, but the install is pretty straightforward.
The plastic trim on the bottom comes of with about 10-12 10mm bolts....
Assuming you gut a simple plug-and-play module with the ballasts, all you need to do it unplug your foglights, plug that to the ballast, plug the pallast to the HID bulb, then put the HID bulb where the other bulb was. then you need to safely mount the ballast so it doesnt fly around, and you are all set.
If you didn't go the plug-and-play route, you may need to do some cutting and soldering where you would otherwise just unplug the oem foglight and plug that into the ballast.....if you post the brand or what you have it would be easier to help...

hey i was wondering if you could help me, i tried doing that and the HID bulbs wouldnt turn on, then i tried to get a local nissan dealer to install them (dont have an infiniti dealer anywhere even remotely close) and they spent 2 hours and charged me 200 bucks and did absolutely nothing, they said that because of my DTRL set up to my fogs there wasn't enough power and there was nothing they could do. ANy ideas how i can get this problem fixed? ive been trying to get my hids installed for so long
