call me a typical girl but i cant remember if my shifter ever had lights:embarrassed:... the part that would say what gear im in... park drive etc... its not lighting up and it seems like something that people would like to know?

if its a fuse anyone know where id find said fuse?

please and thank yous..

there is one tiny bulb in there... if everything else is illuminating normal then it's prolly not a fuse or anything else, just the bulb... once you pop the center plate up you'll see it... don't remember if it's a common 194 or a smaller bulb though off hand..

there is a bulb there, but i don't think it is very bright. When i did the 06+ shifter panel mod, I spliced in another bulb to help illuminate everything down there.

bump.. what's the best way to access this light? i searched and all i shifter panel update. should I just start pulling the panels up to access it? i didn't want to break or bend anything? any tips?

Does anyone know the size of the bulb? I've taken it out and brought it to local auto stores with zero luck.. I'm sure i'm not the only one that has this light out.

It's definitely not a 194, its much smaller than it. I don't know the bulb # either, but I think its similar to the clock one. When I did the 06+ shifter mod, I noticed both bulbs looked very similar. Much easier to take the clock one out and inspect it than the shifter panel. There's even the glove box bulb that most don't know about that's the same one too I think. That one always stays on and burns out the quickest.

I feel like the bulb is on the linked page, but not sure which one.

Can anyone confirm what bulb it is? Shifter or glove box?

I know it's just a matter of popping it out and checking myself.. It's just I'd rather go through all of that when I already have the replacement in my hands.. Call me lazy..
