hello all-
just foundout about this forum and joined to see if i can get valuable insight and knowledge share from other owners...Thx all for your contri..here's my query:
..
I own 2 Nissan (SENTRA & XTERRA),although not the best vehicle brand in world but they are working ok sofar...to me, nissan are sub par vehicles and I ought to myself that I will not buy another nissan ever...I've been in market to trade my sentra with an AWD ( live in snowy northeast), I shortlisted my selection to MDX, TL (sh-awd),Lexi RX350, MB ML350 & then I looked upon FX35 2010, it's the best lookin vehicle sofar I tested, Although hesitant with nissan brand, I still went to test drove it..it was nice ride, somewhat equal to what other vehicle i tested (my list), Now I need owner's review, seems like 2010 fx giving best deal (its always the case somehow,,nissan beats other manuf incentive :) ), One thing which I couldnt evaluate is cabin noise...so how much is it? I looked up and seems like lexi is the winner hands down in this aspect but how much audible it is to you guys? it's one of big reason since I drive on interstate for hours on weekly basis. Also, the smoothness (in terms of suspension) on interstate? can anyone chime in who drove both infi and lexi/mdx?

sory for being lengthy but i want to justify my 40+K spending.

:glasses:

Cabin sound is not bad. Sporty sounding.

Suspension is on the sporty side vs Lexus RX which is on the softer side. FX will be very similar to the MLs ride. If you want a firmer sporty ride, chose either the ML or FX. If you value comfort and just cruising go with the RX or MDX. I'd skip the TL if you get snow where you are.

Driving, the Infiniti wins hands down just for the fact it is rear wheel drive. ~300HP is just too much for a FWD.

After reading your post, I went back to dealer yesterday again & drove it, You are right about susp...they are sportier but not comfy's like lex. Cabin noise is considerable unfortuantely, but then again....they dont have color I wanted, Any color suggestion folks? I wanted midnight Mo w/ prem+nav but apparently nobody in 200mi radius of Newyork city has it.
