Looking to put on a few things to my '04 45.

I figure I'll start with an intake, but dunno what or where to buy it.

Also if you have any suggestions for other upgrades that are available.. feel free.

I have an extra Chrome CAI if you want it for you FX45

PM me if you are interested. The only thing you will need to buy is the K&N cone Air Filter.

JWT pop charger can be ordered through kieranlavin. There are a couple of "JWT intake" threads here you can breeze through to see if it's right for you. Then you can PM him for details if you're interested.

^besides this, use the search bar! there is SO MUCH information on this site and so many threads on this exact topic.

Search police lately  .

Were you looking to add power to the FX45? Not sure how much power you'll get out of an intake unless you like the sound. I know the Invidia exhaust added power... not sure what else besides the +2 you can do to it, powerwise.

I ordered the JWT POP charger directly from Jim Wolf Technologies and they gave me a pretty tight deal, I think it was either $20 or $30 off the site price. Call them direct first. As far as mods, I'd roll with the exhaust first then do the intake. Invidia is running a special on their new stainless steel system (PM Gordon for the latest pricing ) and speaking from recent experience it is an excellent exhaust. Kind of like adding a y-pipe, and a rear exhaust or a very efficient true dual. Great sound, and about 7WHP and 9 lbs of torque (I had a dyno run before and after the install). I would add the intake after the exhaust as you won't see much with the intake by itself (unless you just like the sound, which IS pretty cool). The exhaust and the JWT work together VERY well. Do the +2, possibly some tranny upgrades, Do the electric fan conversion (after much research I am doing mine next week, hope to have a write-up up soon after) THEN get the Techno square re-flash (I have to do the UPREV tune on mine, no TC reflash available). You will be pleased. If you get bored you can add in a grounding gear kit, i think my ride idles better and possibly shifts more crisply.
