got something for my fx's ass

Can you get a wider shot? Also, how thick is this piece?

I'm thinking of getting one. The only thing stopping me is I can think of so many other things I could get for $176.00.

towels cost under $10...

Yeah, at a California dealership. I personally think this piece should be around $50, maybe $75 max.

they're called stealerships for a reason:wub:

can you post the part number?

Stephen, here is the protector from an Ontario Infiniti Dealer with the Part # :

Stainless Steel Rear Bumper Protector Protect your bumper from dings and scratches while enhancing the appearance of your vehicle Designed and engineered especially for the FX Easy, no-drill installation

191$ now this is canadian am I Right? Can different dealership charge differently? I feel like a pity housewive for getting upset over little bit of money but this piece shouldn't have cost over 50$ in the first place

well it is stainless steel, I wouldn't expect it to be under $100 at all, I'd guess $130-$150 not knowing any better... if it was aluminum it would be much cheaper but also much less durable...

I have this one my 09 FX as well. Didn't love it at first but it has really grown on me.

Thanks or the pic. I'm still 50/50 on the look but I just wash my fx yesterday the scar left by my garage Door is more severe than I though :(

gameboy213 how easily does the protector get scratch? Have u got any scratches on the protector yet? Do I think it will hold up to the paws of a fairly big dog?

Looks nice, almost like diffusers, or even "vortex generators" on the EVOs.

But it's so expensive, I would be scared to scratch that.

ok so finally got a nice day with about 15 degree in the gargage, i wash the car prep the spot took the protector piece out for a test fitting.

its half the size it suppose to be and have a compelete different curve. looks like the parts guy gave me a totally wrong piece, looks like its either might for the rogue or the ex. the part i got has a part number 999T6-5u000.

thanks for the part number posted above, sigh look like i ahve to wait longer to get it on i need to control my temper when i go back to the stealership to exchange it

Heck that's a bummer, hopefully the right one won't take long to get.
