escort passport 9500i rearview mirror mount

So I pick up my 9500i with red led today for $200 :glasses: havn't fully test it out yet but I already hate the stupid dangling cord and having to mount it so low.

I'm going to order the invisicord now and wonder if I should go ahead and order either the mike's mount or country joy mount.

However does mounting it below the rear view interfere with getting a gps signal? the manual said the top part of the detector has to have clear view of the sky to get gps does seem like it will with it mounted to the mirrors.

i did consider that as well. but turning it on and off seems like a hassle that could cause me to forget one time and end up with a ticket. Also I read that solo series doesn't have the range that wired ones does?
 
Its the same you/just keep the batteries fresh/ It senses loss of motion and turns itself off after a certain period of time
 
lol you can speed just the same in a crossover as in a sports car. That's why i got it.

only speeding tickets i have are in PA because they use that stupid timing system with the aircraft and lines on the road....got me TWICE...... one more and I can't drive in PA for a year. Who care's if I'm going 25 over at 1am or midnight.....there's nobody on the highway here at that hour.....

they use some timing system with lines on the road where they measure the time it takes you to get from point to point, do the math, and either pull you over for a ticket or send you one in the mail...I hate PA

yeah I just paid for both of them.... lol the district where i got one ticket is 4 hours form my house and 2 from my school, the other was 15 form ym school but I missed the court date so I had to pay...I had a warrant for a week...
