Wear and tear is all the same but everyone that has been in or has seen my interior love it including myself. I had the option of buying a silver Fx with black leather but I chose silver with brick interior. Ware and tear is all up to how you take care of it.

Black carpet is a mod right, because all I'm seeing is brick carpet? Also 03-08 FX35, was white the only color that didn't have a brick color interior option?

I have a copper with a brick interior and I spent extra time looking for the one with that interior. Having cars with black, grey, white interiors after time they kind of get boring, this is def something different and makes the interior look richer in a way. It does however require a bit extra work to keep it clean and fresh looking. I wanted at first put black carpets but it didn't work for me, instead got a second set of black floor mats I put in during fall/winter when we get more rain and you tend to bring more dirt in the car. I put my brick ones back after the summer weather kicks in.
Just regular cleaning and conditioning of the brick interior will keep it looking good, just takes some commitment :)

Blk/blk. Goes a long way IMO. It may not have any bearing to a lot of people but I am a sucker for black colors in cars with sutle shades of lighter black or gray. I kind of like that better. More of a preference.

Yeah if the want the black carpet and floor mats with the brick interior you have to modify it that way, mines is all brick except for the headliner and stuff ///7910///7911

In my opinion, I think the Brick interior is slightly more durable than the black. But it's all about how you care for and treat the seats. I clean and condition mine often enough. It has held up extremely well and look and smell like new. The Brick gets a lot of compliments too. The Ivory Pearl only came with the Wheat interior, at least from 2006-2008. But I've seen some 03/04 white FXs with two tone black and wheat interiors before. The Espresso is 06-08 45 only. When I bought my FX, I had a choice between a Brick or Espresso 45, both on Autumn Copper. I chose Brick because it was always my #1 choice and the Espresso has the grey headliner which I did not like. Also the interior panels are black and just the seats, center console and door armrests are Espresso only. If the Espresso was a true two-tone like Brick with a black headliner, I would've gone with Espresso for sure.

On the 35 we did, but it was just too much work involved. It wasn't the actual suede and wrapping part, but painting the plastic pieces black and all the parts and pieces involved in that process. Sun visors were a pain too.
