Never been so hard to get rid of a car!

Well, I have only owned my FX45 66,000 miles for 5 months now and needless to say probably one of the best vehicles I have ever owned!! My mother decided she wanted a new car and has been looking at new Range Rover,Lexus LX350's, GMC Terrain, Murano ect...I convinced her that my Infiniti has all of the creature comforts that all the new stuff out there has in an '04. Well today I pulled off the 22"s and put brand new Yokohama Parada's on the stock 20"s. I will be selling my baby to my mother this weekend :tears:.

I recently bought a 2005 Jeep Unlimited all pimped out for off-road so im going to drive it for a while. I want to pay it down some, and I will be in the market for another FX and keep the Jeep. I am definetly going black this time, and probably an AWD FX35. I love the sound of the V8, but there seems to be more aftermarket support for the 6cyl. Wanted to say thanks to everyone for all the help. I know I didnt post much, but lurk here daily.

HAH! I read the thread title and thought you were having problems selling your FX (like no one would buy it)... Sorry to see you go, glad to hear you will be back.

Lol yes, actually I am....and also the winter tires I just took off the factory 20"s. I don't have enough posts here to post for sale ads. So if by giving details on this here is a no-no, please let me know and I will delete it!

Here is the deal with the 22"s. Donz Genovese/Toyo Proxes. I bought my Infiniti from the East Coast (NJ). By no means are they in perfect condition. 2 wheels have minimal "curb rash" and are pretty good. 1 Has a little more, and one wheel has a pretty big ding it it with some good curb rash. The worst part of them is that the clear is peeling off some of the black spokes. ALL of these indications were on the wheels when I bought the vehicle!!

They are still useable and look decent, and will get you rolling on 22"s. If a guy took the time to buff/polish the "curb rash" I bet they would clean up real nice other than the black clear coat. I believe the tires are the 1st Gen. Proxes. They do roar a little, and wander a bit, but they are wide, and evenly worn I'd guess 7500-10000 more miles in them. You might even be able to get the wheels refinished at some point.

I will take detailed pictures of each one. E-mail me if interested. I'd take $500+the ride for all 4 tires and wheels. Not bad considering this set up was like $3000 new.

Yep, I am not trying to make anything off them...honestly just trying to recoup some of the cost of the Yokohama's I just put on it.

I also have 4-Very good condition...265/50R20 Dunlop Grandtrek SJ5 (Winter) tires for you northern guys..........$150+shipping for all 4. Im guessing 75% tread but will get an actual measurement and pics!

If for some reason she doesn't like the FX, what's your return policy?

LOL well, she does like it and has driven it before. She said if I ever wanted it back I could, but I really would like a black one. I will be keeping my Jeep as a toy so eventually I will be looking for something else. If I don't get another FX, I will be looking at the new Caddy SRX or CTS coupe. Plus I live in the same town as my parents and if I ever wanted to borrow the FX I could.
