Help a brotha choose an exhaust !

Ive done my fair share of research and now looking for opinions for an exhaust for my 2006 FX45 - I love the sound of the oem, but want something a little louder nothing ghetto loud... or to make the FX sound like a different vehicle if you listen with your eyes closed..
Looking for your own opinion of course though...




If your choice is the Invidia please specify tips (rolled or single layered and preference on titanium blue or stainless tips.. throw down a number 1,2,3,4 or 5

I have and love the Stillen. It's one of the more expensive options, but is also good for Forced Induction if that might be in your future. There are very few dual path exhausts out there for the FX.

I've heard some people talk about low end loss with the Stillen (totally not true) and others have had experience with rust. Mine is still in tip top shape and I have had zero issues.

I've never had another exhaust on my car besides OEM, so it's tough for me to compare mine to anybody elses. I can only tell you if I had it to do over again, I'd still get the Stillen over any of the other options out there. I'm sure other exhaust owners would say the same thing! I haven't heard of anybody flat out HATING an exhaust.

The new Invidia Gemini performs really well on my 06' 45 and the sound is perfect, not too loud but a little more of what you like (I hear you with the OEM call, it's a great sound) BUT you will need to remove exactly 2.5 inches of pipe right in front of the flex section for the 06" fitment. In my opinion it was worth it, love my system. Not sure if they are still running the GB or not but there was some great pricing available on the Gemini a few weeks back. ///7113&page=6
 
You have an FX45...go with Stillen! Look up HumbertoCali's sound clips.....

I have Stillen too..Love it! Invidia is really the only other option in my book, Stainless w/ rolled tips....I just never liked the Nismo exhaust sound
