ok has anyone has this problem before with their fx i just went in to order pads and i had to call in the dealer to see if the pads are the same as the 08's and the parts guy tells me that their not and there are 3 different model numbers supposadly i dont know then 20 min later i call in someone else picks up and say yes they are the same i am soooo damn confused any help guys? i need to know if the 08's pads are the same as 09's so i can order these pads from EBC....:mad::mad::mad::zip::zip::zip::zip:

one more thing anyone heard of the EBC YELLOW STUFF or the EBC RED STUFF any good?

dang my front pads are really worn out it has been one year on my 09 and i have 20000 miles so i need pads asap

Those EBC pads are crap. Stick with the dealer pads. Log onto infinitparts.com and compare the part#

really? why is everyone telling me that the EBC pads are good?

Don't know about EBC pads but I have 76,000 on OEM's and just changing them now with 20% on the rears and 40% left on the fronts. I drive mountain roads mostly but use the manual downshift to minimize brake usage especially on downhill grades.

I just put on EBC Slotted Rotors and Green Stuff Pads and am very pleased with the result and price. Noticably better than my stockers.

I have been running EBC Greens for a couple years, they were squeaky at first but now they are quiet.

I had EBC greens on my G35 and loved them. Going to be putting them on my FX soon. Yellow and Red's are more for racing, may want to stick with the greens for everyday driving.

I had an experience with i believe the extreme yellow. It was not good for my FX driving in NYC, my experience was that they worked better when they got hotter under heavy use. I bought it for the metal to metal longevity and it was not noisy...my only problem was cold breaking and wet/cold breaking it sucked you had to be extra careful when gunning.....I am also now looking for new brake rotors and kits

when i installed new slotted/drilled rotors and new SS stoptech brake lines i also installed EBC green stuff brake pads. I personally don't think that the EBC green stuff brake pads have a good bite. I think the OEM pads i had before had a better bite. I might switch to other pads soon but just don't know what to go to.

I guess you guys will have to ignore my previous comment lol. But now that i have been driving the FX with the EBC greenstuff pads i see how good they are. It took some time for the pads to break in and now i am very pleased with the EBC pads. So much that my girl always wants to drive my FX bc of my pads. Im actually going to get her some greenstuff pads for her G35X so she stops asking to take my FX lol.
:iS:

Are EBC yellowstuff better then EBC greenstuff pads. Im thinking that when i end up switching the brake pads i might try the yellowstuff or redstuff pads. What you guys thinK?
