Unmarked police cars

friggin charger got me at going 78 on a hwy entrance on the belt few months ago, still gotta go to court on that one :frown: didn't even see the guy, just got on they hwy & woop woop, before I even settled in to cruise mode, just got on, I was like where did he even come from?... damn..

We have a whole fleet of brand new white Chargers in Houston. Used to be the Crown Vic - in BABY BLUE. So easy to spot.

Now, "low profile" law enforcement. No obvious markings or lights - even the police precinct paint is reflective and can only be seen from the side. Ahead or behind the cop car, even in the next lane over the sides look pure white.

I've been tricked by several regular white chargers. One of them even had the spotlight on the driver side - that's just wrong!

I wonder now that the cops are using chargers if the sale of chargers are gonna drop? who wants to drive a cop car?

I see alot of people from the predominantly African-American and Hispanic communities that love driving old crown vics. I could see this continuing, since the Charger isn't too terrible looking.

and don't forget, rolling on 26's or 28's on them crown vics. hahahahaha

Very true. I guess it helps that the older Impala SS is pretty much the same car. Chargers kind of seem to be the new Impala, too.

yeah, thats true.

do any of you get any of the guys in the Magnums pulling up to you on the freeway or streets?

we have all types of unmarked out here in chicago.. in my hometown we had a 96 camaro with a LT1 engine in it.. but its a DARE car. lol and most of the time if its not your typical ford/chevy/dodge then its your drug/gang squads.. ive gotten pulled over by a brand new civic, and ive seen some others similar to the 5.0 mustangs someone earlier posted but unmarked.. hes the guy that trys to race you on the highways out here....... and to top all of the cop car talk on this forum...... about two towns over my step brother knows a cop and told him to stop by the station. my bro gets there and there's 10 BRAND SPANKIN NEW STI's lined up.... he said he wasnt sure what was done to them, but every one had an aftermarket exhaust and i forgot what else..their black with decals, but he said even the stickers were cool lookin almost like sponsor stickers or sumthing. kinda scary lol

lol. it would be only one.. either way thats definatly it in Itasca.. they control a busy change of highways out here. usually they have the chargers sitting on the side of the road always getting speeders comin on and getting off the ramps. thats crazy. i wanna see it in person..

I just saw a Santa Clarita Sheriff black and white Toyota Sequoia at work. I guess it's more obvious now but the unconventional unmarked cop cars still worry me.

FBI agents can dive any car they want and can also use them to work it'll need to be modified ie. lights and other gadgets... i seeing a lexus in DC with all flashing lights.. i was really surprise..

Rowland Heights has all sort of modified cars looking to catch street racers. Every once in a while you'll see one with it's lights on sitting with a black and white behind a street racer's car after it's hooked up on a tow truck.

I spent a week in Hawaii, and i noticed that they don't really have marked police cars. I guess street racing got so bad there that now all u see is car with a blue light. I was standing in front of the police station in Waikiki and their were 4 different undercover cars all parked there.
