604 +2 Timing Mod Meet

08 comes with uprev engine. I haven't researched much on the 09. So I can't give you much details. But the firmware was dated 2009, Oct. So I guess there might be a chance that the software can access the FX ECU. However, I haven't heard that 09 FX will be beneficial from the +2 mod. I believe not many people have done that mod on their 09.
 
i don't think anybody has, I don't mind being a guinea pig though, I always use 94 with occasional 92 so not too worry about knock. Seems like a easy mod and a cheap performance upgrade ($15 group rate of course, to buy the whole system is another story)

oh well, next time i guess, gonna keep an eye out for any local infiniti/nissan groups that might have similiar thing going on.
 
just put your name on the +2 loaner program thread. the next person who finished it will mail it to you...

just pay beast $10USD and send it to the next user. You can try it out. :tongue:

My first impression is that this little adjustment seems very worthwhile. It's a very subjective thing but it does feel like I have added just a little more power across the rpm range. I've always fed my FX 94 octane but maybe now I'll get something tangible out of it.

Actually, it is still on. These guys have been parked in my parking lot for a month and a half. I can't get deliveries, there's no toilets out there, the neighbours are getting pissed off, and the landlord says he's going to evict me if I don't get those "fat ass station wagons" off the premises.:rofl:

Yeah, we were having a party out there for a month. The neighbor absolutely hated us. We had to pretend we were restaurant deliver boy :tongue::rofl:

Yeah, Krayzie's been gone quite a while and doesn't get on much. Hopefully we'll be ready for a meet once hes back. We've got a little roster going over at the Org for people interested in a 604 meet. I figured we'd start looking at dates and places next month or so for a meet in March. We just need some reliable weather.

We can start a new thread over here as well to list interested FX'ers for a spring meet.
