I assume the exhaust removal is fairly easy. I read on 350z forum that the muffler is hard to get off of the hangers.

I plan to install exhaust sunday am, and i wanted all the tips i could get prior to staring.

ill be testing out a new ebay exhaust and i will let you guys know how install etc goes.

thanks

sunday am install? Friday night go under there and spray all the bolts and connections with like a wd40 or something like that to break down the rust and make it easier to take apart the next morning

i think its better to detach the mid pipe first then do the muffler
it snot that hard to get it off the hangers unless you are doing it by yourself

thanks for the wd40 tip! i will have a friend to help me out. Never done exhaust but have done other random car mods. he has done 1 exhaust. but it should be fun to do

its really not that hard if the exhaust lines up correctly lol i mean im not saying its easy but its not super difficult. It's not like you are installing the flowmaster onto a g35 (the flowmaster has like 17 pieces) haha
just be careful with the hangers because some exhaust have horribly thin hollow hanger bars that can bend and crack easily (my nismo exhaust's hanger bar cracked and had to be arc welded)....and i suppose you are using the stock hangers?

*but yeah either wd40 or like a brake cleaner or something along the lines of that just to clear everything up and make it easier to take apart...

I usually dont like ebay parts but sometimes it pays off to go cheap and play your cards...which did you end up getting?
