Cold Start? Bad Timing?

Hey guys, the weather has been changing lately here in Austin, TX from 100+ every day to finally seeing some nice 70's and 80's during the day.

At night, it has been dipping down into the mid-50's and with that change the FX has shown a new problem.

It appears that it doesn't like a "cold" or "cooler" start. The car will start, but it will only reach about 300-500 rpms, sounding all "cammed" out. I have to give it gas or shut it off and try again to reach a proper idle RPM.

What could be the causes of this? The car has 45,000 miles on it and I just bought it about a month ago. So far it has been flawless.

It will only do this in the mornings when it's cool out so I won't be able to reproduce the problem at the dealership. I do have the 100K "Infiniti Wrap" premium warranty (got them to throw it in for free at the last minute)...

Suggestions?

Leave it at the dealer over night and have them test it in the morning, that's about All I can think of so that they see the problem

Leave it at the dealer and get a loaner. You have a warranty, let them deal with the problem and give them the headache.

Ever find the problem- funny alot of times people start an interesting and very suspenseful thread and then never return with the ending- leaves you hanging kinda like that Sopranos series on HBO.

I noticed this also when I was home in Dallas the past week. I kind of like the "cammed" sound though. Only on cold starts, and really noticeable when it's been sitting outside.

seems like everyone with 06fx's are having this problem...
