You could be right with that but I have clayed mid summer with my Ricardos Clay and I found next to nothing on the clay bar. I normally only clay at the start of the season, in the spring. Are you not worried about the clear coat? It just seems like you're polishing brake dust and specs of iron into your paint every time you polish with Zaino without using dawn/clay.
I could be wrong, and there's no evidence to back up either side of the argument, but what about just re-waxing with a synthetic wax instead of re-polishing with Zaino?
I wash my ride once a week and alwaysfollow up with the Z6 Detailing spray in between my Sealant applications. The Zaino Z2 is just a sealant not a polishing compound so you just lay a very thin coat on you do not rub or polish it in before you buff it off, so I don't think it removes any clear coat.
On the other hand you are 100% correct in stating some wax applications will give a deeper brighter shine.
I think it is just a matter of preference.
