Help me with 24" wheels

dropped on a some qulaity 22's want a better look get some lip less 22's. I have seen 24 dropped but trust me ride on some 22's with 35 series tires then ask yourself if you even want 24's with thinner tires??????? but I have had the itch as well because I got 22's with a lip that look small sometimes and then at times look just right so do some research first then make a decision. a Fx is sporty and you will want to bend corners and accelerate fast and if you are gonna get 24's make sure there mulitpiece and not some heavy a@# wheels then you will be really hating life.

And uhhhh guys......what about 23's...?? With tyre diameters around 30" being the same size......or bigger or even smaller versions would that be a " in the middle" solution...??
I know there aren't many brand that make this size but there some...........

the more i look into this the more i am thinking a nice set of 3 piece 22's and a nice drop on some springs. now time to tell the wife

You'd be able to find the rims but i'd be $$$ and hard to find tires

Due to the less offering of wheels i ( being a wheel and tyre dealer ) found out that there are several tyres out there and some also at great prices.

For example Continetal having the tyresize 315-25-23 have had some overstock wich the sold to the "grey Market"as we call it. Big tyre dealers who work with several brands. I'm sure if you surch well you'll find them cheaper then you think. :smile:

can't go wrong with it. there are a lot of good looking FX's on this board lowered on 22's. Show your wife the pics. I'm sure she will like them also.

oh then tell her is will make it faster ! lol

++++1 on that

she will like the faster bit. I got the go ahead to get a SC for my G37 should happen this winter. But nmow she is on me for a TT for the FX. I told her she has to wait it ain't made yet. lol She is very needy lol

personally if you really want to go 24's I think they can work out well, but only if the fx is really dropped a lot & winds up with almost no tire gap, the gap has to be less than the sidewall for it to not have that jacked up in the air donk type look...

short of really lowing a lot, 22's are just going to give a better more proportionate look & just look "right" a whole lot easier than 24's, but the right wheel & the right drop & I think 24's can be ok, although I too choose to just go 22's for the all around better fit visually...

personally I think the second gen fx can swallow a 24 better than the first gens too... the body has a little more mass & bulk look to it...

hey turbocad, where in brooklyn are you located? im in brooklyn too.....if there are more members from NY we should put together a meet at floyd bennet field.
