I'm thinking about upgrading to the BB but I'm stuck with stock 18" wheel for the winter.

Is there any kit that will fit stock 18" with or without spacers??

It will be tough fitting a BBK on the stock 18's without spacers. I think you would be the first to try. Let us know what your research finds.

Also you have to take in mind on what kind of size the BBK rotors come with.

Most are on avg. 14.5 to 15.0 inches in diameter and having your 18' stock wheels will not help.

If you do opt in getting a BBK you should look into upgrading to aftermarket wheels of 19' or bigger or just opt to get the OEM 20' wheels

Most BBK sites have a template you can download to check fitment. Need to make sure it prints out to scale though - milimeters can make all the difference in the world with clearance.

I have a Stoptech BBK, but stock 20s and had to use a spacer. I printed the template from the site, glued it to cardboard so it would be stiff and checked it against a wheel I removed. If you can find a caliper template that fits inside your 18s, then a spacer is probably all you would need. On the Stoptech template, they actually show you the OEM rotor and caliper as well as the new Stoptech rotor and calipers (obviously larger).

I don't mind spacers. my concern is 18" rim clerance. I don't want to spent money on the BBK and then have to upgrade my winter rims and tires (extra 1.5K)

Well then possibly a smaller size (4 pot) BBK may possibly clear with spacers. But I suggest researching for the BBK you like and see if it will fit. The AP racing BBK might fit.

I know for a fact we used 18" winter wheels ( fast apex ) on the G37S so if you go with the FX50S barkes they might clear with the OEM wheels.

Yes, definitely look into turbocad's thread on the FX50S BBK retrofit upgrade. It is a direct bolt on for the front's but a little more work for the rear. The front's alone will definitely give you a upgrade in performance.

what size spacers do you use with your stock 20s in order to clear the Stoptech brakes?

jumbo has front stoptech bbk with stock 20's, a 10mm spacer would clear it.
His thread: ///5445&page=2

and in case you want to know: for front FX50s bbk, a 15mm would clear stock 20s.

what is the best setup for a BBK for an 08 FX35? I see that they all seem to be different size and different pistons. Just wondering so i can start seeing where i get the best deal.
