with a stillen intake and one of those LMS z-tubes along with a plenum spacer about how much horsepower do you think you'll be pushing.. and not just to the wheels, just generally:wub:
 
what do you mean about tune?? im guessin you mean resetting the ecu or something along those lines right??? now is that like the "chip" or whatever?? and if i did "tune" it would it add more ponies?? and also is it required when adding either the intake or plenum spacer??.. im a newb. sorry for the 50 questions!!!
 
Tuning is not required. But recommended to have the most potential of the mods to be brought out.

Tuning is not just resetting the ECU. It involves in timing adjustment, throttle open timing, Air/Fuel ratio, etc. Tuning should be done by professionals.

Search any thread regarding TechnoSquare. It is one of the most well known tuner on this forum. Or just check their website: http://www.technosquareinc.com/technosecu.htm

I still only think it's around there without a tune just because you're feeding more air into the mix and true that is does add some but maybe like 15 tops without properly tuning it... I spent like an hour on the phone with Tadashi from Technosquare yesterday and that was part of the conversation...(or maybe he was just trying to sell ;)) but seriously

with just and intake and plenum spacer you will see gains, but its not like you're going to jump up 50 HP... the intake will add a tiny bit and sound awesome, while the plenum spacer will add a good amount and sound awesome as well....

on the butt dyno, that is, how you feel it while youre driving, you will probably see a good amount of gains, but on an actual dyno....16-25 ish, around there or more depending on how it's tuned.

but, definately get those mods! they are awesome! and totally worth the money
 
great. thanks you guys.. ya i think those mods and one of those chrome stillen strut bars is what im going to do to my engine until a SC upgrade(have one in my dreams already) lol.... maybe change my engine cover to the newer ones with the silver too
