If there was just 1 MOD I could to to my FX35, what would it be, why and how much would it cost???

(i'm a newbie, so pardon if this has been answered already or if the question is outta line)

JWT TT would be my first guess. But after second though, probably Stillen S/C because I think it wouldn't need any other mods really to work.

No need for a pardon, this is the newb section and any question can be asked in here...over and over again.

I also vote for a Stillen S/C if you could only do one mod, no need for any other mods with this. You can get a used one for around $2500 or new for $5000.

If you want cheaper, maybe an intake or plenum spacer.

infinitiscene.com sticker boosts about 500 hp :tongue::tongue:

no but yea...the s/c or TT are a good choice for one very expensive mod.
but if i was to only choose for one mod ill go for those

I agree with these guys u can spend alot of time modding and spend alot of money. A Stillen S/C wont necesarily save you money but it will pretty much end your need for any other performance mods

oh man, that would be torture, why just one (1) mod? if I could only do one (1) mod to the fx I think I'd trade it in on an fx50s at least ... otherwise, there are many mods that support & work togeather well with other mods & depend on another mod to complete it, for example drop & spacers, or drop, wheels & brakes... why just one?

if I really HAD to do just one I think it'd be my first mod, the carpc, but it would be so sad to every day have to think that's it, I can't do anything else :frown:.... man, that's just a bad thought :err: whats the deal with this one mod BS anyway?

I vote Stillen S/C, go big, keep it simple.

Tell you what, throw a budget number out there and see what kind of IS response you get to your ONE question.....

There are SO many choices.....

Wheels & Lowering kit. Wouldnt that be considered one related mod?

WOW! that question created a stir :))

i guess i owe a little more constraints with my question

so how bout this, what is the ONE mod I could do with a 3k budget (10% of what i paid for the car), and i'll throw in curve ball. it can be a PERFORMANCE or a Exterior/Interior MOD only(ie wheels/tires) not both.

thanks for all the responses!

Wheels/tires/suspension . . leaves some money left over for some bolt on performance mods

nice!
& you should even get some money back. Arnt the 35s taking in higher a dollar these days?

You could do a full GT Spec bracing set-up, Lowering springs and spacers.

If you were to do wheels I'd go LIGHT BUT light wheels do not come cheap......

Or per fxlr8's suggestion you can get close to the price of a used Stillen S/C set up......

Performance - Intake, plenum spacer, exhaust. Do this and I promise you won't stick to one mod.

Looks/handling - Wheels, springs, bracing. Do this and I promise you won't stick to one mod.

But either place is a good place to start.

I totally agree with jumbo and lance.. They pretty much nailed it.

One mod huh,....ok then trade up to a FX45 hahaha, lol, j/k.

+1 LOL>.

Depends on what you are looking for to get out of your car...

Do you want it to look good or go fast...

Looks good.. Lower it and some wheels.

Go Fast... Stillen S/C

Dont forget it will go faster with lowering & wheels. No point in Blowing the motor if you're gonna lose it in the twisties on stockers.
