deciding what to get next

Like i said if you already have a spacer its kinda pointless unless you wanna lower running temps, but the gains are too similar to tell a big diff/ I like the way it looks too

ahhhh nvm then ill save it for something else

yeah, friday... not saying WHICH friday, but I'll make sure it'll be a friday then

sooo like next week?

It's actually black the manufacturer pics don't do it justice. I switched from the Motordyne 5/16 spacer for sh*ts n giggles and I've been impressed thus far...butt dyno agrees but no real data

Update

update: Sent out my ECU yesterday to Technosquare to be reflashed/tuned etc.
I should have it tomorrow in the late afternoon, and will post my first impression right away.

for anybody else that will be doing this, check out the in-cabin air filter DIY for instructions to get deep into your dash, after that the ECU removal is quite simple.

So I think the Technosquare reflash/tune was an awesome investment...

i can definitely feel improvements everywhere. It is definitely a lot torque-ier than before and I can definitely feel more of a "pull" aka the butt dyno loves it haha...... The shifts are smooth like butter, there seems to be a bit more engine noise/intake noise when revving up, the exhaust note is a lot cleaner, and there feels to be a bit better power overall, everyhting is definitely working together a lot better because of the reflash and tune. The rear end kicks out a lot more than it used to, and when you are WOT stepping on it and revving up to 7200 (with the rev limit removed) and go into 2nd and third it kind of feels like there is power there that isnt getting to the wheels fast enough- it's hard to explain. basically, it feels a lot tourqier. This thing screams like a banshee I am going to take some videos because the tune also made a big difference in sound

I only drove it arund for a little bit since it was raining but when the weather dries up I'll show more of a review tommorow.

i ended up paying $31 to ship it to them overnight, $550 for the reflash/tune, then $51 for them to ship it back to me overnight (though i was originally under the impression that was included) So basically costs around $600. An honestly, for this price I think what you get in return is definitely worth it.

Sounds Great.....!! One more happy FX'er. This is another push for me to take that direction as well.
Did yo noted everything you had on your FX, and did you discuss what you wanted or they TS suggested things to you like the + timing etc....

Yeah i called Tadashi beforehand to discuss and filled out the form you are supposed to send in with your ECU; I already had the +2 timing and i wrote that and told him.

Whats new with the HFC'?

I got the ECU tuned saying I have crawford HFCs installed so I will be getting them soon:biggrin:

Ya i bet, i wish there were an easier way to lift the limiter w/o a full $600 re-flash. It seems like that is something that could have been incorporated in the Uprev Cipher software. But at the same time i dunno if it such a great idea to run the revs that high if all your mods are not in tune with each other

exactly: since everything is tuned to work in unison then 7k shifts are alright. even 7.2k
