So I was at work Friday, went out for lunch and returned. I was leaving for the day about an hour later. Open the door, turn the key, nothing. No lights, horn, ignition, dead. So I popped the hood, and jiggled the wires on the battery. Just doing that, all power restored, the car started. Got home, and washed it. When I went to start it to bring it in the garage, same problem. So got a wire brush and cleaned all the contacts on the battery. No problem since. But today, I went to a car show and at stop lights, it was idling REALLY rough, to the point where I thought it was going to stall.
Any suggestions? Does anyone think this is a funtion of my battery issues? It was dead long enough to wipe out my memory seats and radio stations. Could this have messed up the ECU?????
