Nick's FX

I've been a member of this forum for a few weeks and have been wanting an FX for quite some time. After much looking I finally found my FX. I've had a dealer friend of mine looking for me one for about a month. Last week he found a 2007 35, diamond graphite with black leather, sport package, touring package, and hands free package. He bought it and I picked it up on Saturday. I've only had it for 1.5 days but so far I love everything about this thing.

I can't wait to start doing some mods. Ipod integration and H&R springs will be first. I really enjoy this forum and hope to start contributing more now that I have my own FX. I'm going to post a few pics that link to my Flickr account. They are nothing amazing. Just some pics of my bone stock ride!

Congrats - stock pics are always good, when you start modding you can see where you started from.

Looks very nice!!

War Damn Eagle by the way!!

I see you're from my old home town. Good ole' Huntsvegas!!

Thanks. LOL. There's nothing like a good rivalry! I've been in Huntsville for about 10 years. I have a good friend that moved from here to ATL to take a job at Emory University. He seems to really like it there.

iPod and H&R springs are my two favorite mods thus far... my only advice at this point is to add the 20mm H&R spacers along with your springs. You wont regret it. Congrats and welcome aboard the obsession train.

nice ride but i am diggin your clean lawn/driveway even more, here in LA they dont even let us water our lawns more than twice a week!:frown:

Thanks man. I haven't had to water my lawn much this year. We've gotten a good bit of rain. They don't restrict us on how much we water though. I know CA is tuff on that kind of stuff. Look on the bright side, at least you don't have to mow your lawn as often! I travel to Yuma AZ a lot for work and I sometimes think it would be nice to have a rock front yard instead of having to cut grass all the time!

Excellent color combination choice, if I do say so myself. Did you go RWD or AWD? How many miles?

Thanks. I think you may be a bit bias!! RWD and 23k miles.

Thanks for the advice. I'll probably do the spacers as well. I'm still trying to get the whole Ipod thing drilled down. I've read a lot here about it. It seems like I can do it. My FX doesn't have sat radio installed. However, all 2007 models seem to be what they call "satellite ready". I found a good pic on the org that shows where the harness is located for the satellite radio (in the cargo area close to the spare). I'm just trying to figure out if I'll get full integration if I use that connection (browse ipod and see songs that are playing). I talked to Crutchfield yesterday and they stated that the product they sell will not work unless you have a "sat" button on your radio. I guess if I can't get it all figured out I may start a new thread in the proper area of the board so I can get some help.
