Man... brand new Nissan Versa for $5,490! I need a clunker, NAAAOOOW!

What's the rules? Do you need to have owned a clunker for a year or 2 before it's eligible?

Owned and insured for 1 full year prior to trading in, 18mpg city/hwy combined OR LESS, and a vehicle manufactured after 1983.

Oh and btw, I think this is an awesome idea. This money is going directly into dealer pockets, and surprisingly many are using this on buying brand new domestics. I could care less what it's doing for the less fortunate people because this is a very socialistic move and I absolutely cannot stand socialism.

Must have been manufactured after 1983
Must have a "new" combined city/highway fuel economy of 18 miles per gallon or less
Must be in drivable condition and
Must have been continuously insured and registered to the same owner for the full year preceding the trade-in
 
I heard on the news today that the $$ is gonna run out again, sometime this week

Yo dawg, I heard the economy needed simulating, so we took some cars and destroyed them so you would buy new ones.
 
Ever since I saw that Volvo S80 T6 getting destroyed, I've hated CARS. Just didn't make sense some of the vehicles they were destroying.
