Motorcycle Riders

Ask yourself this question: "what is it about the Busa that you like???" If you answer "the power", I'll recommend that you turn around, and walk away. The Busa is beast so if you can respect and handle the power, go for it! If you cant, it will bit you in the a$$ badly. I've been around bikes all my life, raced 150cc to 1100ccs and personally, anyone can go fast in a straight line. However, how many can do it safety and with full confidence that if something goes wrong, they'll know what to do.

Thanks guys for the replies.. I must say that I'm not looking for power or someone that is willing to be cocky and an ass on a bike. I'm 6 foot tall and 220 and i drove a GSX 750 last year and i felt very uncomfortable and drove a busa last week and felt very comfortable.. My first mind set is that I'm looking for a toy to get around town in and cruise not to go fast. I realize that this bike and any bike needs to be respected. My parents had Hondas and Harleys and i myself had a honda..

I did ask myself if this bike is to much or me but I'm looking for comfort not speed.. These bikes are all fast.. Thanks zcspec for the advice

If you're going to cruise, then why not a cruiser? Busas are very capable bikes, in straights and in turns, with a skilled rider aboard.

I myself own a 10R, and I respect busas even though at the track mine is more capable IMO.

I had a cruiser many years ago and my parents had harleys.. I've always liked the sportbike :smile (2):

My second choice would be the Harley Night Rod but i can't afford it

I've been lurking around for a few months now, and just got an'06 FX35 this past weekend! There... There's my introduction...

Regarding your question: I've been riding since 1999, and am currently on a Honda RC51. My personal opinion is that there are quite a few bikes out there that are just as comfortable as the 'Busa.

If you're just cruising around, I'd recommend some good sport-tourers (Honda VFR, Yamaha FZ-1 immediately come to mind). If you're dead set on getting a "full-on" sportbike, most of the I4 literbikes are comfortable, powerful, and have MUCH quicker handling than the 'Busa (just in case you find yourself hitting the twisties on the weekned).
