2006 fx 35 deal?

Guys,

I am in the market for FX35. A local dealer willing to sell a 2006 FX 35 RWD w/ 26,000 miles, Sport package, Tech package, and navigation for $28900 out of the door. Is this a good deal? Please give me your inputs
 
Well to give you an idea, I got mine in April 2008, with around 25k miles with the CPO extended warranty I think until 2013 and 100,000 miles. It cost around 31k OTD, brought down from 34k. We have a good relationship with the saleswoman though. Have you been shopping around and had any other deals you've looked at?
 
I got another deal. One 2006 FX35 w/ same options and 50,000 miles for $27,000 OTD and warranty is the same. Man! a lot of dealers won't reply to me for the 2007 w/ 30,000 miles when I put in an offer for $28,600.

My '07 FX35 RWD was listed at $29,500 with 21,000mi. I have sport package and tech package. As part of my negotiation, I had them put brand new tires (Toyo Proxes ST II), and add $1,300 to my initial trade in offer. I have the warranty until 2014 or 100,000mi.

So it sounds like you definitely have some room to work.

So what is your OTD price when you bought it?
 
I would work on that warranty first. 2010 is pretty close. I know I've had a few things fixed under warranty in my first year and I would say I've had a good experience problem wise.
