thnx guys, well I have 22" chrome dubs right now with all the windows tinted including the windshield, but Im hoping to finish up :
- red break calipers
- blacking out tail/head/fogs
-painting the grill black
- painting rocker panels and lower front and rear red to match the car color

I would not black out the headlights and fogs. if you want the black out effect w/o sacrificing light output then open up the headlights and paint inside.
Also if you spray the rear lights yourself, it will get too dark using a product like "night shades", as I have commented this week to another member... get it done at professionally.

everything will be done professionally, I suck at body work lol..
about lowering it, I've heard stories about springs snapping so I was a bit scared to put them on, and to be honest I don,t know what the STB is for so if anyone can give me some info about it and its price. I was thinking about coloring the rear wing but I wasn't really sure if I should do it now or when I go railless.

Hey-I forgot to say hello to a fellow seattlite! FX'rs are not so common in the Emerald city. H&R springs are pretty bullet proof, there have been a few isolated incidences with Eibach springs snapping but you can go back through past threads and make your own call. The STB- shock tower brace is a must-connects shock tower to tower across your engine, ties it togther pretty well and for the cost is a very good mod. I have a couple of GREAT shops if you are interested. I say do the wing when you paint.
Also-There is a group buy going on for GT Spec product right now. Read some of the write ups its pretty sweet product and will make a big difference in your ride. if nothing else you can just order their STB, BUT then again an STB is an STB and they all work pretty well, I have the Stillen unit and it's fine.

Cool, 45's or 35's as well? Yeah hooking up would be good especially if they are down with "improvements" interesting how you get caught up in the modification program..... STB is EASY, socket wrench - 20 minutes, I did it at work. Two shops I recommend for mechanical, Car Nutz in Bellevue, little more expensive than most but they do quality work. Lately I have been using Group 2 Motor sports in the fishermans terminal (across the water from Ballard) they do all kinds of exotics and would appear to be over the top cost wise but they are reasonable and take pride in their work. I live on Cap hill and getting back and forth is a PITA but ehhh, good work is hard to find. Who is going to do your paint?

as for the lowering springs.... go with H&R and you will be good. much better ride than stock. Normally when you lower other cars , the ride suffers, but on my FX the ride got much better.... as other s have stated also.
They both have 35s, Im getting this done at a friends body shop in issaquah,, and about the headlights im prolly going to paint the inside now ,, but what do u guys think about painting the inside of the tail lights as well,, is it doable ?

turbocad can tell you , taking apart the rear lens is very hard
Ihave heard of none having problems with H&R. (I have 22" and so does many other H&R owners)
