Painting black moldings...

yea i am gonna pass the paint idea for now.
and the lifter problem isn't gonna be covered under warranty, that sucks lol i bought my car 2 months ago so still have 30000 kilometer warranty so gonna take it back to the dealer and see what his thoughts are hopefully he can get it fixed. if not than i guess i can live with that noise it isn't too loud but still noticeable.

Thanks again all for the ego boost :)

I love it tho, can't stop looking at it. This is the first car I've had where I've really gone all out with the modding. In the end, yeah, it cost a lot, but I wouldn't change a thing :)

I do like the roof vinyl idea tho.... LOL

Angle in first shot is tops. I'm still not a fan of all painted, but it really looks great from some angles. Good job!
What show was it, & did you place, or was it just a meet?

Thanks, I agree. First shot is also my favorite. Didn't place, but did recieve good feedback, except from some douche who put down my rims and tires, claiming his "20's" would kick my @ss, but he couldn't tell me what brand they are, but I digress. There were a lot of older, restored Datsuns that won some prizes. No late model cars scored any awards though.

The Larz Anderson Museum is a car museum, and they have different genre car shows weekly. Today was Japanese Car Day. Decent turnout too, about 200 cars/motorcycles there.

LOL, thanks. Yeah. He was playing up his car like it was unbelievable. All he had was a stock 03 FX45, tan exterior (BLAH!) with his chrome 20's and stock Goodyear tires (After he downplayed my wheels, he said he wasn't a fan of my tires either. I have Yokohama Paradas. Not sure what's not to like about a tire).

Any plastic can be painted. I agree with turbocad, when doing plastic with texture it looks tacky and utility, only the smooth plastic looks classy. I am thinking of doing the unpainted trim on my fx as well.
