Model packages and what they mean, i.e. touring, sport, etc.

For the G35 it seemed easier for me, there weren't so many packages. It seems as if the FX35 has multiple packages available. Can anyone let me know what they all refer to? Only considering 2006-08 models if it makes a difference. Thanks!

Check the link at the bottom of gto's first post. Infinitihelp has model and package specs for all of the model years.

Sorry guys for bumping a kinda old thread, but figured it was better than starting a new thread about my question.

I recently picked up an 05 FX 35. It has the Touring pkg. I was reading the manual and I saw the feature on the memory seats. My seats have the SET, 1, and 2 buttons on the side. When I go to put the key in/removeit does the ENTRY/EXIT sequence. I went to try and "store" the seat memory into the 1 and 2 buttons according to the manual. It does not appear to be working. Manual states there should be an indicator flash for like 5sec and I didn't see a flash. Now after looking at the link GTO posted I'm REALLY confused now because the Touring pkg. features listed for the 2005 says "driver Memory seat". Could it be possible that I have the ENTRY/EXIT feature but not the actual "Store" feature?

According to the feature list, it appears I have the Touring and the Premium package on this FX. But like I said, there is no "indicator" displaying and nothing seems to happen when I press the 1 or 2 buttons.

after you set all your seat position, press the set button and the illuminate light on 1, 2 should be on and just press and hold 1 or 2 for couple sec and you should be all set.

Oh the button illuminates? I was expecting something on the dash. I'll check it out today and see if that's a success or not.

The buttons lit up, thanks guy.

New ?

Sorry for an old thread bump again, but I was confused about something I read. I have a 04 Sports/Touring package, however, I have a XM radio module installed in the behind the rear seat. After reading this which says to have the XM, the tech package is required. I however don't have the tech package. Any idea as to how this could be?

As an original option you could only get it if you had the tech package but many dealerships and owners added this later. Are you the original owner? If not, the first owner probably had it added after the fact.

Im not the original owner, but I looks as if it was done at the original time of purchase meaning all the wiring is wrapped up together as opposed to a seperate appearing install. It's cool either way, I was just curious. Thanks for responding!
