Stealth FX BBK from Rotora

Oh and to add.

Rotora has changed their hardware over the years I've had my kit. The original mounting hardware for the hats is difference, as well as the hats themselves. My original rear hats were steel, the new hats are aluminum all around.

Thanks to all for the great comments.

You should see rookie's beast with stock wheels...:err:

Will... My bad for not being online as much....:tonguey:

Just been busy working and cutting..:err::tonguey::tup::tup:

They look awesome Bert. But they look even better and bigger in person. Can't wait to see your other mods that are coming up.

I have 18" wheels for winter tires. Do you think there's enough clearance with these brakes to clear the wheels?

380mm rotors generally need 19" wheels, it's possible to do 18s but the wheels have to be a certain build type to clear. At this size it's not just caliper clearance to the spoke to deal with it's caliper clearance to the barrel.

Good to know what other added expenses I will have (new winter wheels and tires) if I decide to go with a brake upgrade.

I find the OEM brake feel and response mushy. Not sure if that's improved in later model years or not.

What's the pros/cons of the steel vs aluminum -- weight, strength, expansion when hot?

Aluminum is lighter, it expels heat faster.

Downside is it does heat up faster, so heavier vehicles using the e brake for drifting and stuff is not a good idea. But who has a hand brake?

The Decals... Look Hot...

Pics to come this weekend... I am now looking for new wheels to show off the Brakes..

The Titans don't give it any justice. Some times you can't even see the ROTORA Decal because the Titan spokes are too wide... ughg..

Any suggestions that are under 3K? He he...

BTW the 26th is by big day at Autoexplosion.. Can't wait.
