Replacing stock screen

I was close to buying an aftermarket head unit that is a full touchscreen.(not a flipscreen) It would have replaced the stock screen. Has anyone who has done this had A/C problems, since the A/C is displayed on the screen? I wanted to relocate the screen to where the clock is, but I did some measuring and my 03 doesnt have a large enough gap to fit. I'v only seen some 05's with the relocation.

all the screen sizes are the same, 03 will fit just like 05, there the same...

as long as you don't break anything then the ac & everything else should be fine... to move the screen down to the clock area doesn't even require any wiring mods, but you will have to do some modification to the bezel & the ac vents to get the DD head to fit...

I was talking about the space where the clock is. It seems like the 05 have a bigger gap than the 03.

06 & up are different console, different dash & different clock area, but 03-05 use everything the same... there are a few different aluminum textures but panel sizes & everything are the same...
