just wondering, what kind of gas mileage are u guys getting on your fx's, i average around 250miles per tank, mostly city driving, and is there anything to help ur mpg? i put in a k&n air filter but havent noticed much

I have a 45, and my mpg went up like .5 maybe .7 after the LMS intake...

right now, it's been at 12.6 for the longest time but I don't do a lot of highway driving... I only live a mile from work, so it's NOT a big deal.

My problem is... I have a lead foot

I averaged 22.4 on a tank once.

Right now it's at 18.4

Highway is about 2 miles longer to get home from work, but I take it anyways because I get an extra 6-7 mpg on highway lol...

(I can get as high as 23-24 mpg all highway, but if I drive like a granny I max out at maybe 17 mpg all city...)

Gas Propane Mileage.

well i getting great results, in terms of gas mileage, specially on gas propane.

Petrol (rated 88 octane)
11-12 city
13-16.5 highway

Propane (rated 105 octane)
10.5-11.5 city
13 - 16 highway

the reason why petrol get better gas mileage is because has more calorific power that propane, one gallon of petrol is around 125,000.00 btu against 91,000.00 of propane.
taking in mind here in my country, with the price of 1 gallons of unlead fuel i get 3.1 gallons of Propane, better fuel, clean, not carbon to my engine parts, oil, catalytic converted, sparkplug get longer life.

great performance and torque.
what can be better, obviously if you use sequential injection system of LPG.

TARTARINI RULES.

Gas mileage

Hey guys Im getting 19.6 mpg, FYI all stock engine. Will getting a intake decrease or increase my mpg?

Thanks for da help...

i thinking getting an intake will give you a bit more mpg not a lot , more air flow to the engine= :top:

That's been up for debate for quite some time now .. you get more air flow, but you also use more gas. I personally didn't see a change in my MPG after installing the intake the the MD 1/2" spacer.

Phantom,

When u get the chance try putting back on your stock rims and tires if u still have them, i'm pretty sure that will raise ur MPG back up. 22's r heavy...

i wish i was getting some of the mpg you guys are getting haha, but its all good i use about $50 bucks of gas a week, driving to work and going local places :top:

$50 bucks a week dang.... gas out here in GUAM is $4.01 for reg but i get to gas on a navy base where is $3.83 reg, i probably do $50 every week and half, just depends on how many time my freakn work calls me in on my day OFF!! Haha
