What did you trade in to get your FX?

2001 QX4 with 175,000 miles without any problems... well until the front drivers wheel fell off due to dumba$$ inspection station that did not correctly tighten my lug nuts the night before... But anyway, miss that truck so much but hopefully it was a blessing in disquise b/c now I got my 2012 FX and lovin it
 
Traded in my 2004 FX35 with 82K miles, which ran and looked perfect, for a 2007 FX45 with 33K miles back in December of 2011. Swapped over every single mod except for the intake!
 
Sold our Caribbean Blue '04 G35 Coupe with 85K on it. Great car with no issues, just needed more room and the FX is perfect for us.
 
^ Oh brand spankn' new from Lisle Infiniti! Very nice, I certainly understand your reason why you miss it. It's amazing that the 1G/S50 FX design has been out for 10 years now, still looks better than a lot of 2012 cars, and will look good in another ten years. :smug:
 
Yes! That was the day I brought her home. I completely agree with you about the design. I feel the same EVERY TIME I see a 1st Gen on the road. My wife and I always comment how that is one design that will stand the test of time. Never gets old. If I can afford it, I see myself purchasing another one 20 years from now to work on in my garage as my 'classic car'. I now know how those who garage vintage '60s Mustangs etc feel. I still very much enjoy my 2nd Gen though but as they say, you never forget your first love. :)
 
The timelessness of the first gen is undeniable...just can't believe it was from the same guy (Shiro Nakamura) that championed the Isuzu VehiCross. Haha
 
I traded in my '08 Fiji blue Civic Si coupe. I loved that car. I used to beat that thing to death! I moved from San Antonio to Baltimore and thought "I am def going to need some AWD love". Yeah, we got all of about 1/4" of snow this year. I dig the FX though, more room for my hockey gear. The biggest thing I miss is driving a manual. Auto stick is the poopies
