What did you trade in to get your FX?

Perhaps a more fair comparison would be contrasting the differences between a 2010 FX and your 2010 CrossTour? 2 years is a bit in the realm of features in a car.
Hope you are getting used to your new ride.

You'd be mind boggled with a fully loaded 2009+ FX in comparison to any other car if you were interested in "features".

Traded in my 04 Civic coupe manual for a 2011 FX35 AWD. I had the civic for 7 years (first new car out of college). I will miss the 32-34 mpg.

I converted from Audi's. Had an Allroad and a TT. I traded the TT for an FX45 because I wanted something that would handle/perform well and still hold dogs, bikes, gear, etc. I'll never go back to German cars - too much maintenance $$$.

Leaving behind a 2006 Volvo S60R. The FX gives me a little more power/weight, about the same brakes, and a much much better experience in a parking lot (42.7' turning radius).

2003 Toyota tundra

I had a. 2003 Toyota tundra that had 240k on it. The truck looked great and ran like the day I bought it, it didn't leak or burn any oil and didn't smoke. I have always liked the fx and will probably miss my truck, but I have enough friends that have one if i need one. I bought a 2008 fx35 awd with 38k on it and I can honestly say I don't miss my truck, I love this car and every time I drive it I love it even more. Now, here comes the mods!

A 2000 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer Edition. It was pretty dicked up as far as the transmission and transfer case. It sounded like you were driving on gravel toward the end there. But it was in great cosmetic condition.. So much so,Inskip didn't even take it or a ride! Ba-ba-ba-bonus!!

Didnt trade anything in, but parked my 1991 MR2 turbo stage 3. Havent driven it ever since i got my FX, hopefully that changes next year.

After taking my 2006 Rubicon Unlimited on a four hour highway journey(a first with this heap, I mean Jeep), I was ready to roll it off a cliff. Don't get me wrong, the Jeep never gave me any problems(actually I had to replace the fan control resister card), but it is the worst driving machine I have ever owned. It's built for off road, and that is all it's good for. So with 25,XXX miles on the clock, I couldn't stand driving it anymore. Plus the FX is better on fuel, way more power, and it doesn't feel like I'm in WWII when I drive it.

i traded in a white on black 07 qx56 for my fx.
sometimes i miss the big body
but i love the handling on the fx :D

I traded in my 03 G35 sedan with 128k miles on it. I bought her in 07 with only 24k miles and put over 100k in less than five years. Gotta love driving 100 miles a day for work, but on a side note my FX get 25+ mpg since it's all freeway miles.

I had a 1998 Ford Explorer XLT before the fx35. The Explorer drove great and the engine is still mint. Sold it to my brother in law. Don't miss the Explorer at all except the handling in the snow when 4x4 was on, incredible. Best automobile i've driven in the snow but can't compare to the fx in any other way

I sold (privately) my 2007 Acura TL and traded my 2011 Nissan Frontier. The FX is the best of both worlds for me.

I owned a 2000 Tundra that I quickly dumped after the rusty frame ordeal. Mine was flaking but I passed the frame test at the dealer, so no buyout offer. It was a great truck; not too big and not too small.

I've been driving a 2004 Chrysler Crossfire for the last couple of years since I paid it off I figured I should get something that can get me around during the winter. I love the FX35 and have been looking for one that I could afford for the last year and finaly found my 2004 FX a month ago.

How was that crossfire? I got to take a srt6 around the block and that was pretty nice.

It wasn't a direct trade, more like sell my car and then use my girlfriends car for a year and a half in the city, haha. But I sold my 2005.5 Audi S4 which was tricked out. I miss it a lot, mainly because of the MT and V8 Exhaust tone. Which is why I got the sweet sounding FX! Sadly MPG is about the same if not worse...:tongue (2):
