In Car Digital TV

Anyone tried to install a digital conversion box in thier FX? (12v input)

I just ordered one from Amazon with my gov rebate.

i m also looking to see what the best antenna I need.

This will hook up to my AV in on the rear DVD player (i also have NAV-TV)

I'll let you know when I do mine. But as long as you have a AV in, then I dont see why not. The front LCD will not show until you do a NAV-TV type mod.

I have slingbox also......using my Blackberry.
Friday I left work at 430 and didnt get home til 650pm.....and I didnt miss a beat on the NCAA tourny.....

oh cool, I just got a blackberry too, didn't even think of that be cool if that had a video out to the navtv...


from what I hear, dtv reception is pretty cool, but moving it'll probably still suck as much as analog tv reception did, problem is the signals are not anywhere as strong as like cell service, so you'll get choppy & spuratic reception. parked it'll probably be cool though... might be best to get a high gain amplified antenna but you'll probably need a small power supply if you buy a normal home one...
