Ok guys, here's the moment of truth, I already know what you're going to say on the choice of these three cars, but I need a unbiased decision on these cars. My friend is arguing with me that the Q7 and X6 are better looking and cooler cars than the FX. I say he's on crack, and doesn't know. So I need your opinions:
If you could have any car all over again....FX Q7 or X6?
 
don't see why it matters what any one else thinks... most here are obviously going to lean towards the fx, but what is it that you want? there are many people that choose each of those every day, how does that affect you? for the record I'd say get the fx:tongue:
 
Becase we always have debates about which car better. So he's asking people what they think, and I'm asking people what they think to see what the popular vote was. Just for fun. I would DEFINITELY lean towards the FX, its a more solid car in every aspect...But then again, I like to hear everyone's opinion on things, and this is just another chance to hear what people have to say about each car. :-D
 
I'd take either the FX or Q7, but I put Q7 just because I have an FX now. I love the way the front looks for some reason, and I'd be willing to try one out. Although I might get in one and realize I like the FX alot more. But ya, Q7 seems cool based on what I know now.
 
I personally like X6. It's unique and the engine... how does 100+ more hp with just a chip tuning sound to you?? :.smile: The only thing is that it's a 4 passenger CUV... That extra one passenger is important.. I can't imagine my father, his wife and 2 brothers coming to Boston and me asking them to take the cab.. :tdown:

I'd get the X5 as well if they offered the 35i engine with it..
 
Q7 or FX. I slightly favor the Q7.

but are we talking FX50s? or 45/35? I would choose the FX50s over the other two...but the Q7 over the 45/35.
 
Audi Q7 all the way. As for the BMW I would go with the X5 over the X6. Then X6's design is very odd to me. Plus you're not exactly comparing apples to apples unless you are talking about a FX50.

The more I see the new X5 the more I like it. The X6 still completely polarizes me. One day I see one and love it and the next time I see one from a different angle and hate it.

I voted FX in the end.

the q7 is hot looks wise no doubt, but it's also a little land yacht-ish, it's gonna ride & handle alot more like a truck, it's bigger, longer, heavier & way jacked up in the air, I'd only even seriously consider one if it can be dropped ~1/2 a foot or so...

& yeah, a fair comparison has to be equivilent $$$, so fx50 all the way, or better yet 09 fx35 w/gtm's tt setup for the hr... Q7? what Q7? :wink:

the bmw is a bmw, cool if your going to lease it 3 years & then give it back I guess...
 
Q7's electronics are top notch but styling looks like a tank.
X6 looks nice but too small relative to the tires and height so it just does not fit proportionally.
FX I would buy again but only a 45 and not a 35 and not 2nd generation model even though I love the the new engine in the FX50S.

Yeah the Q7 is a deceptively large vehicle. It dwarfs the FX and weighs 5100lbs. Built like a tank though. I've seen a picture of a head on collision between a Q7 and a Hummer H2. Lets just say that the H2 came out on the receiving end...

Why the 45 again? You just like the engine and performance better? :uhhh:
 
FX - If you like to drive and like interior refinement (09)
X6 - If you like to drive and like the big aftermarket BMW parts
Q7 - If you have something to prove


All the FX is missing is a bigger aftermarket support. Look at the X6 its only been out for a short time and there is already a good size aftermarket support from various brands.
