Just completed an easy mod I do with all my cars just to personalize them. Went to a local Auto-parts store and bought a low-tone horn. It comes with a grounding lug and crimp connectors. I spliced into the wire connection from one of the FXs native horns. Used the exact same bracket the stock horn was already mounted to and the same grounding lug location. Had to re-orient the brackets to keep the horn openings pointing down (otherwise they catch rain). Took about 15 minutes. Now when I honk, it's obviously not stock.
In the past I have gone to junkyards to pull old car horns. 1970s American cars had the best loud honkers. I say if you find a horn you really like - take it to your next car. Attached a couple pictures.
