SoCal PDR: Paintless Dent Removal

Yeah, he is really good. I was amazed how quickly he took my dents off.

Was it a big turn out?
 
I got there around 9:45 and was out of there by 11:30. I had the fender roll and ShanesG (from g35driver) spent all that time on the Fx.

The other guys (about 6) was waiting on the PDR. Not a huge turn out but was cool. Eric (also from g35driver) hosted it at his house and he was real cool.

I didnt see Gil there, maybe he left cause he didnt want to wait.

AWW man, I just missed you. I was there at 9am, I was the 2nd guy in line. I was driving away at 9:40am. I didn't think you were gonna show so I just took off. I wanted to see how they were gonna go about a fender roll on a FX. I should have gotten your cell.

Talk about amazing work, Xavier is the man.:tup: I finally got the dents fixed that "Cerritos Infiniti" put on my door.

here is a pic . Shane did a great job with the fender roll. Equipment used was a heat gun and fender roller tool like this one

heres Shane doing the work, it took him longer since we have fender trim to remove.

I'm a bit confused... What is the purpose of fender roll? I know some guys were doing this to prevent the tires from being shredded by the fender when I had an Acura. doesn't our fender trim/liner prevent this? Please enlighten me. =)

behind the fender trim is metal, same size as the fender trim.

actually I never had the tire rub, but the rims/tires I got from Jeff did .. . and that scares me.
I do plan on maybe going lower on the H&Rs, but you know what that means...cutting front springs.

I just wanted to take advantage of this group meet to get it done just in case. He had all the tools and was done right. The trim piece is held on with less screws now, but I think I need to replace one tab on top to hold it on tight. (it also has screw on the left and right side of the trim piece.)
