hey guys a little HID help please!

Hi guys, sorry for being such a noob, but i wanted to upgrade my fogs to HIDS, but instead of ordering the whole kit, i just ordered the bulbs, so my question is. If i already ahve the bulbs what else exactly do i need? A ballast and what else?

you will need 2 Ballasts and a pair of the direct wires to plug into the factory harness :.smile:

I recommend getting the kit and returning the bulbs, but if that is not an option then...

you have to match the connector from a ballast that you MUST acquire.(all HID have a ballast for eash bulb) The ballast will have the H8 connector that connects to you stock foglight plug. the other side plugs into the bulb. So I guess you will need to find a ballast that has H8 connectors on both sides.

I have 3 sets of Apexcone (2 for 2 years)and never once had a problem. AND they come with a lifetime warranty that covers bulbs and ballasts!

I would agree. It may save you some problems down the road if everything is from one manufacturer.

what if i bought the bulbs from the same site? , but i'll see if i can return the bulbs and go with what you guys said, thanks!
