routing video from rear dvd to nav

I dont know if this topic was dicussed before. Ive seen a few threads about aftermarket navs and what not...but my 03 has rear ent. system, with the dvd player underneath the center console...i was wondering if there was a way to route the video from that player to my nav screen?..all i have upfront is a rear/av button to play the sound throughout the car but no video option..im guessing because its a 03 and options were not refined...

Do you have the Tech screen which is color on the main dash or is it the non tech screen which is orange? if you have a tech screen there is a thread tha will show you how to use a jumper line to get video, if you have the orange scren then you will be out of luck.

You will need a module like navtv to feed the front screen from the rear dvd player.

ok cool...any idea on how tough the install is on them? ive seem on ebay for around $200 that sound right?

I'm from the fairfield area, and Doc is correct on the feed. your video feed will have to come from the video player to yout video harness which is located under the center console. I'll try yo locate the thread for you, but it will take some time unless someone else does it first.

Try searching for navtv and you should get a number of hits or even try the Tag's on the bottom.
