I just notice a noise, it sounds like when you turn on a computer and the cooling fans turn on. Happens when ignition is ON but the engine is off. I turn on all audio and fans but i can still hear it. is this something i should be concern about? It sounds like its coming from the passenger door panel but I can't be sure.

Everything else is fine with the car. its a 09 fx35.

Noise from the speakers maybe, my 05 makes speaker noise with the radio off. Could also be part of the computer/nav system...fans.

Doesn't sounds like it come from the speaker. I don't know if it was like this when i pick it up from the dealership. I like to blast my music and rarely turn it off.

It only comes on when ignition is on ON not on ACC.

so I shouldn't be concern?

Hopefully someone with an 09 helps you out, since I have no experience with the 2nd gens.... Since your car runs fine and it is only on in the on position maybe it is just your fuel pump...(just taking an online guess). If you have concerns, take it to the dealer.

I just want to know if other fx have that noise too. my dealership is quite a drive, I don't want to go there to have them tell me there is nothing wrong.

the speaker noise from your 05 does it on away when the car is on ACC?

I have a 1st gen, but I know my car has some high pitched noise when its on the ON position. Never gave any much thought though, figured it was a pump (maybe fuel pump like fxlr8 guessed above) or something of the like.

I head it, and its cause my ventilated seat was on. At first, i was like, what is this awesome sound... then i realized, its my passenger ventilated seats.

fan noise.

I have an o9 fx 50 and have experienced what sounds like the same noise from time to time. I found the noise to be the fan from the heated/cooled seats. might be some help.

so is this a normal sound?
I started listening to it today , like humming , and if you put your ear into the seat you can hear the fan
is it normal?
