GTSpec Strut bar on a FX45

Hi All,
Simple question. I'm thinking about suspension improvements, and considing starting with a strut bar. Do I have to remove the engine cover on the 45 for the GTSpec?

Nope it'll fit right over it and even have clearance if later on the future you want to SC...

Belate my last! You have a 45 they only have SC for the 35

No, you do not have to remove the engine cover.

The GTSpec will fit the 45 with the engine cover only on the 03-05. The 06-08 was changed and raised. Depending on what MY you have you may have to remove the cover.
 
agreed, i recently put on the gtspec stb on my 03 fx45, no problems with engine cover.
